As a kid, I was always drawing, and my perfectionism meant I wouldn’t stop until it looked *just right*. By high school, I was creating lifelike portraits, practicing my handwriting, and experimenting with Photoshop, wondering how to turn my interests into a career.
I went on to study design at university and landed job referrals that led me to Icarus Design, a consultancy with over 30 years of experience. Their technical roots paired perfectly with my detail-obsessed mindset, and I quickly learned to stretch my skills across branding, print, UX/UI, and motion.
When projects demanded more, I taught myself to code so I could bring websites and mobile apps to life exactly as I envisioned them.
For me, design isn’t just about looking good. It’s about problem-solving, storytelling, and connecting with people.
